Dean Designs is an AWESOME shop I just have to tell you about.

Among the charming items in her shop; she has a unique collection of purskeys.

What is a purskey? Funny you should ask... Use them as a little bit of bling for your purse, as a keychain, jean dangle (my daughter loves this), zipper pull, and for the brides or bridesmaids a bouquet charm!Imagine this charming pink cluster paired with a bouquet of pink and white rosebuds! Beautiful!

These would make a fantastic bridesmaids gift that would actually be used AFTER the wedding too.

It can decorate their bouquets, and afterward be used as a keychain or whatever they wish!This would be charming with a pair of jeans or to add onto a purse to give it that little bit of panache'. Love the blue with the silver.

Coming Up for Air

It's been a long week of BUSY!

Taxes, the monthly business statement, bank accounts, . . . all the hundreds of things that need to be done. Unfortunately, for some reason, this week they all NEEDED to be done NOW, or YESTERDAY (whichever came first)
;-)

Most of it is finished and a good thing too . . . I was beginning to look like one of those fish you see in caverns with the moon eyes that never see the light of day.

Since I'm finally coming up for air, I thought I'd just post a couple nice little pics to remind everyone (myself included) that there's more to life than just the grindstone.

This one was taken in the early morning along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The mist was filling the valley and the mountaintops looked like little islands floating in a cloud of mist.


This one is just a nice warm pic of some fall colors from last year. This tree was so vibrant! although the photo does not do it justice.

Hope everyone has the luxury of taking a few minutes to relax today.

These Coils are wrapped with tiny Cobalt Blue Delicas and some velvety looking Cobalt Blue beads (the center three). This wrap really adds panache to this coil.


These Dragonfly Drops are a blend of pure copper wire for the ear hooks and between the satin beads; the dragonfly charm is of brass. Different from my usual styles, but I think it works.
